Allow dual effects, each one applicable to separate parts of the image. Also vertical effects as well as horizontal

Allow two or more effects to be used in one image as well as the animations, each one applicable to different parts of the image. For example, fire at the top, water at the bottom. Also some side-to-side effects rather than all top-to-bottom....

The abilit to save an animation as a standalone graphic file such as an animated gif

I am not sure how easy this would be to do, but the ability to save these files as animated gifs would be a cool addition.

Animated Icons ONLY to replace static icons

The ability to cycle through different wallpapers

have an option to pick different animated wallpapers or other image files to use as wallpaper and have the program randomly change wallpaper at a set interval or on each startup.

Fix support for animated gif as background image source format. This feature should have been added in 2.4 version but does not work properly. As the impact, one can't make new wallpaper which is originated from .gif format.

My suggestion would be to make your new wallpapers loadable to your moblie devices. setup templates for major or well used devices. Then setup a one or two click xfers for less experienced users. That way they can enjoy their favorite new wallpapers

Ability to import 3D objects to use in the special F/X, and apply custom movements such as rotate, bounce, and collision detection.

I'm a 3D artist and a really good wallpaper program needs those abilities to truly create an animated wallpaper that will make users say, WOW!

I think that the ability to select and add a sound file would be good for background music, or mood music to accompany the animations. I think this is also missing from your screensaver maker.
